It is both palatable andrefreshing. Priacanthus, says Guenther, is a percoid fish with shortsnout, lower jaw and chin prominent, and small rough scales allover them and the body generally. a vegetable common to allthe colonies, Atriplex cinereum, Poir, N. Cattle and sheep browse on the twigs ofthis and some allied species, even in the presence of plentifulgrass, and are much sustained by such acacias in seasons ofprotracted drought.
